Port fowarding


Hi welcome to another Tutorial from FAckNiFF
In this tutrial i will be teaching you how to foward ports.


If u are connected to routers or modems you will have to foward your port in order to host.


1.If you know your default gateway then enter the deafult gateway in the browser.If u dont
  know what your default gateway is then go to start->run and enter cmd
  once in command shell enter keyword  "ipconfig" (without quotes )


            

        




 

2.If the above doesnt work then do this step,each router has its own default ip,hence you have
 to search your default ip in 
 
   http://portforward.com/


  or you can do the first step.


 Here im using belkin router so my deafult ip is 192.168.2.1




3.Note down ip adress from ipconfig previous method, here it is 192.168.2.2
  Now go to DMZ ,enter ip and enable Dmz
 Dmz enables certain ports which are blocked,it works without enabling also
 Check if your server does not run if dmz is not enabled,if id does not enable DMZ


 Because DMZ is a security risk


        

                     














4.Now search for virtual servers in the router menu.
  Add new name Hlds with inboud and out bound ports set to 27015 (or 27017,27012,11440 ,etc)
 with type TCP


Similarly add one more with same name but type should be UDP

            




Then apply change ,Port Foward is done ,Now You can host server with ease.
